answer : option (b) increasing speed.

explanation : The position of a body depends on time varies as , x = t²/5 + 5

we know, velocity is the rate of change of displacement (or, position) with respect to time.

i.e., v = dx/dt = d(t²/5 + 5)/dt = 2t + 5

hence, velocity , v = 2t + 5

here it is clear that velocity depends on time. and it is directly proportional to t,

at t =0, velocity is v = 5 m/s

at t = 1, velocity is v = 2 × 1 + 5 = 7m/s

at t = 2 , velocity is v = 2 × 2 + 5 = 9 m/s

...........

here it is clear that velocity increases with time. hence, option (b) is correct choice.
