the position of a body moving along x axis as a function of time t is given as x=t^2-2t metre. The distance travelled by body in the first 2 second?​

Answer:

we can see here that velocity will change its sign at t=2 sec so at after 2 sec particle will return back so we have to calculate distance from t = 0 to t =2 and then add distance travelled in t = 2 to t = 3 sec. answer is 5 metre
