differentiate first we will get 2t-4 which is velocity time relation now vel. is zero at 2 sec so obj comes at rest
now position of obj initially is 6
after 2 sec it is 2
after 3 sec it is 3
so distance travelled is from 6 to 2 then to 3 (imagine the positions on graph)
which is equal to 5 m
