0 = x^1/2 + 3
or, x^1/2 = -3
or, x = 9 .
at t = 1
1 = x^1/2 + 3
or, 1 -3 = x^1/2
or, -2 = x^1/2
or, x = 4.
At t = 3
3 = x^1/2 + 3
or, 0 = x^1/2.
or, x = 0.....
So body comes at rest at t = 3 s
and hence distance travelled in these 3 s will be 9 + 4 +0
= 13 m.
