The position of a particle moving on straight line is
given as X = t^3 - 3t2 + 2 (where X is in m and t is
in second). The magnitude of velocity of the particle
when acceleration becomes zero
(1) 4 m/s
(2) 6 m/s
(3) 2 m/s
(4) 3 m/s

Answer:

3m/s

Explanation:

x=t3-3t2+2

or, velocity = dx/dt=3t2-6t

or, accln= d2x/dt2=6t-6

when accln =0 i.e 6t-6=0

or, t=1

so, at t=1, velocity=-3m/sec.
