NO: it is not right the center of gravity of body depends on

SHAPE, SIZE, STRUCTURE AND MASS DISTRIBUTION ALSO

SO, if u have a rod then its C.O.G IS at the midpoint but if bend a rod into circular shape then its C.O.G WILL be at the center of the ring

EITHER C.O.G. MAY BE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE..
