Answer:

(a)Element A is a non-metal because of its electronegativity. we can see that it's in group 2 and has 7 elements in outermost shell so it will take one electron to complete it's octet which is a property of non-metals.

(b)atom of C is larger than atom of A because C is in period 3 and A is in 2 i.e C has an extra shell which means increased size.

(c)element B is in group 1 and all elements in group 1 have valency 1. that's actually the basis of groups
