the position time graph of two objects A and B in three different situations for particular time are shown
1.in which situation the distance will remain same
2.in which situation there moving in opposite direction
3.is the velocity of object A positive or negative in case 3​

(i) In graph (3) the distance between them will remain same because, in graph (3) object A and object B are in an uniform motion with a uniform velocity and also both of them having equal velocity.

*It is not graph (1) though both of them having equal velocity and moving uniformly because, the both are in opposite direction so, the distance between them will vary but in (3) they both are in the same direction also.

(ii) In graph (1) they both are moving in opposite direction with the respect to each other. Here, A is said to be in retardation while B is said to be in acceleration.

(iii) In graph (2) the velocity of A is positive as it is moving forward not backward.

(iv) Yes they are crossing each other in graph (1) as well as in graph (2).

In graph (1) both of them are in a uniform motion with equal speed but they are crossing each other because, the velocity of A is negative while the velocity of B is positive.

In graph (2) they crosses each other because, A is always in a uniform motion but B is not in a uniform motion and suddenly the velocity of B rises up rapidly.
