The post office become a pilgrimage for Ali as when he walks to the post office every morning, it is usually the break of dawn. The entire town lays asleep as the stars slowly start to vanish in the grey sky. The entire town is wrapped in death like silence. Few people can be heard walking to their work while occasional barks of dog can be heard on the streets. It is biting cold and thus, the sleep has become more profound. Wind blew across the streets like frozen snow with the faintest light of the morning star as Ali proceeded towards the post office.
