The story - THE LETTER left a great impact on readers. We should Never make fun of others feeling's without knowing their true feelings or emotion's . we should respect other's feeling's. Like in the story...postmaster made fun of ali without knowing his sufferings and emotions, but when the same situation occurred with him, he realized his mistake ..but it was too late.. And he regretted his behaviour...maybe this is helpful
