a) Energy transferred = Voltage × Charge
E = 12 × 5 = 60 J

b) First calculate the charge.
Charge = Current × time = 2 × 10 = 20 C
Now,
E = Voltage × Charge
E = 12 × 20 = 240 J

Hey there !

Solution:

a) Potential Energy = 12 V

Charge = 5 C

=> Work Done = Potential Energy * Charge

=> Work Done = 12 V * 5 C = 60 J

b) Current = Charge / Time

=> Current = 2 A

=> Time = 10 Seconds

=> Charge = Current * time

=> Charge = 2 A * 10 = 20 C

=> Work Done = Potential Difference * Charge

=> Work Done = 12 V * 20 C = 240 J

Hope my answer helped !
