Given:
- Potential difference,V = 8 v
- Current, I = 4 A
To be calculated:
Calculate the resistance, R ?
Formula used :
V = I × R
Solution:
We have, potential difference and current.
V = I × R
★ Substituting the values in the above formula,we get
⇒ 8 = 4 × R
⇒ R = 8/4
⇒ R = 2 ohms
Extra information:
★ Electric current: Rate of flow of charge.
- It has magnitudes as well as direction.
- S.I unit of current = Ampere ( A )
- 1 A = 1 C / 1 S
- Instrument used to measure current levels is Ammeter.
