Given, the current through an X-ray tube is I = 3.2 mA = 3.2 * 10^-3 A

I = total charges / time = ne/t

For t = 1 s, n = I / e = 3.2 * 10^-3 A / 1.6 * 10^-19 C

Thus, n = 2 * 10^16 electrons will strike the target per sec.
