The potential difference between terminals of an electric heater is 100V when it draws a current of 2A.
i) What will be the resistance of heater?
ii) If the potential difference is now increased to 150V, what will be the current drawn

Answer:

V = 100V

I = 2A

V = IR

100= 2R

100/2 = R

50= R

R = 50ohm.

(ii) V = 150

V = IR

150= I ×50

150/50= I

3 = I
