The potential difference between the terminal of electric heater 100v when it draws a current of 2A. what will be the current in the electric heater .if the potential difference between the terminal id increased to 140v​

Let V=100v v=140v I=2A i=x

R= V/I

Therefore V/I = v/I

100/2 = 140/x

50x = 140

x = 140/50

x = 2.8 A
