The potential difference between the terminals of an electric heater is 100 volt when it draws a current of 5 ampere from the source what current will the heater draw if the potential difference is increased to to 160 volt

p.d of heater=100voltto 160volt

I(current)= 5 A

solution:-

total p.d. = p.d 2 - p.d 1

= 160 - 100

= 60 volt

v = I × R

60 = 5 × R

60/5 = R

12 ohms = R
