The power consumption of room heaters, A and B are 550 W and 770 W
respectively. Both receive a standard voltage of 220 V.
Calculate the difference between the current that passes through each heater​

Potential Difference = 220V

Power in heater 1 = 550W

Power in heater 2 = 770W

In heater 1,

Power = Current*Volt

Power/Volt = Current

550/220 = Current

= 2.5 A = Current

In heater 2,

Power/Volt = Current

770/220 = Current

3.5 A = Current

So, the difference between current that passes through both the heaters is = (3.5-2.5)A = 1 ampere.
