The power gain for CB amplifier is 800 &
voltage amplification factor is 840. Find the
collector current when the base current is
12 mA.

use relation ,
[ power gain = voltage gain × current gain(ß)]

Answer:

First find current gain

840 = 800 \times  \beta  \\  \\  \beta  =  \frac{840}{800}  =  \frac{21}{20}

So

i_{c} =  \beta i_{b} = 12 \times  \frac{21}{20}  = 12.6 \: amp
