Hello
given that P= 2.5 d
we know that P = 1/f
f = 1/P
f = 100/2.5(in cm) = 40cm
since f is +ve then it is a convex lens

i know answer but why u took focal length in cm instead of m

p = 1 / f
2.5 = 1/f
f = 1÷2.5
f = 2÷5
f = 0.4 m
convex lens.
because SI system is preferred generally

f = 1÷2.5
