hi frnd

Given power (P) = +2D --> lens is biconvex lens focal length (f) = 1/P => f = 1/2D => F = 0.5m Or, f = 50 cm So the lens is biconvex with focal length 50 cm. Answer: Focal length f= 1/p So according to the question power is +2.0 D f= 1/2.0 = 0.5 m In centimeter ...the focal length is 50cm.

hope this helps you

Here your answer

Power of a lens is -2D,

negative sign indicates it is a Concave lens.

Focal length (in meters) = 1/power of the lens,

thus focal length =1/2=0.5m=50cm
