distance should the object from the lens is 0.100502513 m or ~ 10.05 cm

power of concave lens, P = -0.05 D [ by mistake you had written 0.05 cm ]

as power is inverse of focal length.

so, 1/f = P = -0.05 D

⇒f = -1/0.05 = -20 m

image distance, v = -10cm = -0.1 m

using formula, 1/v - 1/u = 1/f

⇒1/-0.1 - 1/u = 1/-20

⇒1/u = -10 + 1/20

⇒1/u = (-199)/20

⇒u = -20/199 = -0.100502513 m

\huge\bold\purple{Answer:-}

focal length =f=-15 cm after sign conventions

image distance=V=-10cm

object distance=?

by lens formula:

1/f=1/v-1/u

1/u=1/v-1/f

= -1/10+1/15

= -3+2/30

=-1/30

u=-30cm

Magnification=m=v/u

=-10/-30=1/3=0.33
