untouchability is a practice in which people who belong to lower caste are not allowed to touch people belonging to upper caste.
the people being educated now have understood that it is completely wrong.
this is why this practice is now dying down.

The changing scenario day by day proves that the evil of untouchability is dying down. 1. Public facilities can be availed or you can say used by all irrespective of caste aslo
2. The constitution has given fundamental rights to all citizens
3. Right to Education empowers all to get education. As per the constitution the right which prohibits the practice of untouchability can not be easily altered.
4. People sit side by side in hotels, trains, school etc
5. Opportunities are available to all on equal basis.
Example - We have had People from low caste at high political posts.

We can say the today nobody cares about, especially in urban areas, which the person standing or sitting by them belongs to.
