There is a huge number of bacteria with enough potential to contaminate a water body, here I'm mentioning some.
Aeromonas hydrophila- causes huge casualty to the animals living inside the water body(rot in several parts of fish-body)
Campylobacter coli & Campylobacter jejuni- these 2 cause campylobacteriosis to human. Actually not only these 2 but many other species of this particular genus also cause health hazards to human.
Salmonella enterica- salmonellosis is a disease caused by this and it affects the intestinal tract.
Shigella sonnei & Vibrio cholerae are some common examples.
