The presence of an excess solid which can no longer dissolve is evidence that the solution is Saturated Solution.
- In saturated solution the concentration of solute is enough that it can't dissolve anymore amount of solute in it.
- Such solutions can only be fixed in a way by addition of more amount of solvent to it.
- One common example of saturated solution is Seawater. Since it can be seen that seawater has a very high concentration of salt in it . The quantity is enough that if more amount of salt be added to it then, it would crystallize completely instead of dissolving.
