let son is x

father y

x-y=14

 \frac{x + 11}{y + 11 }  =  \frac{4}{3}

3 \times (x + 11)= 4 \times (y + 11)

3x + 33 = 4y+ 44 \\  \\  \\ 3x - 4y = 44 - 33 \\  \\ 3x - 4y = 11

(x - y = 14)3

3x - 3y = 42

3x - 3y - 3x + 4y = 42 - 11

y = 31

answer is 31 years
