Son's present age = x

Father's age = 3 + 3x

After 3 years

son's age = x + 3

Father's age = 3 + 3x + 3 = 3x + 6   or  10 + 2(x+3)

3x + 6  = 10 + 6 + 2x

x = 10

Son's present age = 10 years old

Father's age = 3 + 3x10  = 3 + 30 = 33years old
