Question:-

The present age of a father is 5 times his sons age after 5 years if the father age is 3 times his sons age .Find the present age.

To Find:-

Find the present age.

Solution:-

Here ,

Let the sons age be " x "

Father's age be " y "

According to the Question:-

Fathers age = Sons age

\bf\implies \: 5x + 5 = 3( x + 5 )

\bf\implies \: 5x + 5 = 3x + 15

\bf\implies \: 5x - 3x = 15 - 5

\bf\implies \: 2x = 10

\bf\implies \: x = \cancel\dfrac { 10 } { 2 }

\bf\implies \: x = 5

Hence ,

Present age of son is 5 years.

Father's present age is 5x = 25 years
