the present age of A is twice that of B,5 years from now. As age will be 8 years more than twice B s age . find the present age of B

Let , the present age of B be x

A age = 3 x

  • After 5 years

B age = x+5

A age =3x+5

=> A age = 2B age +8

=> 3x+5=2x+10+8

=> 3x-2x=18-5

x = 13years

SO , B age = 13 years
