Answer:

Let age of A be a.

Let age of B be b.

Let age of C be c.

a, b, c are the ages 3 years ago.

Three years ago, average of a and b is 18.

ie,

(a+b)/2=18

or,(a+b)=36

Now, C joins. Average is 22, ie.,

(a+b+c)/3=22

or,(a+b+c)=66

We know, (a+b)=36

So,

(36+c)=66

or,c=66−36=30

But that was 3 years ago.

So, current age of C is 30+3=33.
