The present age of a man is 6 times of his son age. Fifteen years hence their ages will be in the form of ratio17:7 .Find their present ages​

Answer:

Let present age of son be x

Man age=6x

After 15yrs

son age=x-15

man age=6x-15

x-15/6x-15=17/7

7(6x-15)=17(x-15)

42x-105=17x-255

42x-17x=-255+105

25x=150

x=6
