Answer:

the present age of the man is 80years and his grandson is 20 years

Let his grandson present age be x

therefore man present age is 4x

after 10 years their age

grandson age = x+10

and man age = 4x+ 10

according to the question....

4x+10 = 3(x+10)

4x+10 = 3x + 30

4x-3x = 30-10

x= 20

so the grandson present age is 20years

and man present age is 4x = 4(20)

= 80years

.........hope this helps you......
