The present age of a mother is 2 years more than three times the age of her son. three years hence, mother's age will be 8 years more than twice the age of the son. find the present age of the mother.

Let present age of son be x
then his mother age be 3x+2

ATQ
mother age after 3 years will be 2(x+3)+8
3x+5=2x+14
x=9 years
then his mother age is 29 years
