2x+4/5x+4=5/11

on solving

22x+44=25x+20

44-20= 25x-22x

24=3x

x=24/3

x=8

hence Amit age is 2*8=16 years

his father's age=5*8=40 years

father's age 5 years ago was= 40-5=35 years
