Let :

After x years ,

The ratio of their ages will become 5 : 4

So ,

Anil's age = ( 14 + x ) years

Sunil's age = ( 10 + x ) years

According to the question:

➢ ( 14 + x ) / ( 10 + x ) = 5 : 4

➢ 4 ( 14 + x ) = 5 ( 10 + x )

➢ 56 + 4x = 50 + 5x

➢ 56 - 50 = 5x - 4x

➢ 6 = x

➢ x = 6
