Let Anne's age be x and her mother's be 3x.

Now, after 5 years
(x+5) + (3x+5) = 66
4x + 10 = 66
4x = 56
x = 56/4
x = 14

Therefore Anne's age is 14 years and her mother's age is 42 years.
