Let the present age of Arun be x.

Present age of Arun's father = 3x

According to Question,

x+5+3x+5 = 70

=> 4x+10 = 70

=> 4x = 70-10

=> 4x = 60

=> x = 60/4

=> x = 15

Hence, present age of Arun = 15 years

Present age of father = (3×15) years = 45 years
