Hi Friend !!!

==================

let the present age of son be x

then father's age = x + 34

Twelve years ago ,

father's age = x+34 -12 = x + 22

son's age = x-12

according to the question ,

x+22 = 18(x-12)

x+22 = 18x - 216

18x-x = 22+216

17x = 238

x = 238/17

x = 14

so the son's present age is 14 years

Hope it helps u:-)

HELLO......FRIEND!!

THE ANSWER IS HERE,

Let the present age of son be x.

And father's age will be x+34.

12 years ago,

=> Father's age =18×son age.

=> (x+34-12)=18 (x-12)

=> x+22=18x-216

=> 17x=216+22=238

=> x=238/17

=> x=14

So, The present age of son is 14years.

:-)Hope it helps u.
