the present age of father=4x yrs.

After 10 yrs,

Age of son=(x+10)yrs

Age of father=(4x+10)yrs

According to question,

4x+10=3(x+10)

4x+10=3x+30

4x-3x=30-10

x=20

Present age of son is 20 yrs

& present age of father= 4x=4×20=80 yrs.
