Let age of husband = x
Let age of wife = y
ATQ
x/y = 4/3
3x = 4y
3x - 4y = 0 equation 1
Thirty yrs later
Age of husband = x + 30
Age of wife = y + 30
Again ATQ
x + 30 = y + 30 + 10
x - y = 10
x = 10 + y equation 2
Now putting value of x in equation 1
3 ×(10+y) - 4y = 0
30 + 3y -4y = 0
-y = -30
y = 30
Now putting value of y = 30 in equation 2
x = 10 + 30
x = 40
Therefore age of husband is 40 and age of wife is 30... I hope it helps
