The present age of Mohit’s uncle is twice the present age of Mohit. Six years ago, the sum of their ages was 30 years. What is the present age of Mohit’s uncle? I don`t able to solve this type of question. Please describe it briefly.(in whiich place come +/-).Or send me video`s of this type of question.

Let the present age of Mohit = x
Let the present age of uncle = 2x
Six years ago,
Mohit's age = x-6
Uncle's age = 2x-6
A/Q (2x-6)+(x-6) = 30
3x - 12 = 30
3x = 42
x = 42/3 = 14
Present age of Mohit = 14 years
Present age of uncle = 2x = 2x14 = 28 years

eq - (x-6)+(2x-6)=30
3x-12=30
3x=30+12
3x =42
