The present age of mother is 60 year and the present age of her daughter is 35 year find the Ratio the present age of daughter to that of her mother​

Answer:

Let present age of mother is x and daughter is y

So x+y= 60 equation no.1

Their age after 15 years

Mother = x+15

Daughter = y+15

According to question

x+15= 2( y+15)

x+15= 2y+ 30

x-15= 2y equation 2

Now substitutjng equation 1 and2

x-15= 2(60-x)

x-15= 120- 2x

3x= 135

x = 135/3

x= 45 years

Mother age is 45 years

Daughter age 60–45= 15 years
