Let the present age of Radhika and his mother be x and y years.

$\huge{\textbf{\underline{Solution:-}}}$

• Radhika mother is six times Radhika age.

$y = 6x$

★ 5 years hence.

Age of her mother will be =

( y + 5)years.

Age of Radhika will be =

( x + 5) years.

• 5 years hence mother age will be 20 years more than radhika age.

$( y + 5) = ( x + 5) + 20$

$y + 5 = x + 25$

• put the value of y.

$6x + 5 = x + 25$

$6x-x = 25 -5$

$5x = 20$

$x = \dfrac{20}{5}$

$\therefore \textbf{ x = 4 years }$

Mother age is :-

y = 6x

y = 6 × 4

$\therefore y = 24 years$
