Let the present age of Ravi be x

So,Present age of father=4x

Given that after 10 years

Ravi's ages will be= (x+10) years

So, Father's age =(4x+10) years

Also given that after 10 years the age of Ravi's father will be three times more than the age of Ravi.

Forming the equation according to the question

4x+10= 3(x+10) (balancing the age of Ravi)

4x+10= 3x+30

4x-3x= 30-10

x= 20

Hence Ravi's age is 20 years

Then father's age=4x = 4×20= 80 years.

Let the present age of ravi be x

then,

present age of Ravi's father be 4x

After 10 years,

ravi age =3( x + 10)

Ravi's father age = 4x + 10

A/q,

=> 3(x + 10) = 4x + 10

=> 3x + 30 = 4x + 10

=> 30-10 = 4x -3x

=> 20 = x

=> x = 20

present age of ravi is 20 years

present age of Ravi's father is = 4 × 20 = 80 years
