3Y+6 + Y+6 = 69
4Y + 12 = 69
4Y = 69 - 12
Y = 57/4
Y = 14.25

X = 3Y
X = 3×14.25
X = 42.75

the present age of sita's father is 42 (or 43 approx) and sita's age be 14 (approx)
