Let the present age of daughter = d
Present age of suresh = 2*d

6 years hence:
Age of daughter = d + 6
Age of Suresh = 2*d + 6
Given ratio suresh:daughter= 23:13
2d+6/d+6 = 23/13
13*(2d+6) = 23*(d+6)
26d + 78 = 23d + 138
3d = 60
d = 20
2*d = 40
Present age of Suresh = 40 years.
Hope it helps.

let suresh age be 2x

and his daughter's age be x

AFTER 6 YEARS

suresh age= 2x +6

his daughter's age = x+6

ATQ

(2x+6)/(x+6)=23/13

13 (2x+6)=23 (x+6)

26x+78=23x+138

26x-23x=138-78

3x=60

x=20

age of suresh's daughter is 20 years

and suresh age =2x i.e 2×20=40years
