Answer

let

father's present age be 'x' years

his son's age be 'y'years

ATQ

x=3(3+y)

x-3y=9_______{1}

three years from now

father's age (x+3)

son's age (y+3)

(x+3)=2(y+3)+10

x+3=2y+6+10

x-2y=13__________{2}

By elimination method

by subtracting {1} and {2}

x-2y=13

x-3y=9

y=4..............{3}

Substitute {3} in {1}

x-3(4)=9

x-12=9

x=21......

Father's present age is 21

His son's present age is 4
