the present ages of Aman and naman are in the ratio 4 : 5. 8 years hence, the ratio of their ages will be 5 : 6. find their present ages

let the present ages of Aman and naman is 4x and 5x .

After 8 year , age of Aman is 4x+8 and age of naman is 5x+8

now according to questions
=> (4x+8)/(5x+8) = 5/6

=>6(4x+8)= 5(5x+8)

=>24x+48= 25x+40

=>(25-24)x = 48-40

=>x = 8

so , present age of
Aman = 4x = 4×8 = 32
Naman = 5x = 5×8=40
