Let present age of son be 8 x

And, present age of father be 15 x

Given,After 10 years, ratio will be 5 : 3

According to the question,

 \frac{15x + 10}{8x + 10 } = \frac{5}{3}

3( 15x + 10 ) = 5( 8x + 10 )

=> 45 x + 30 = 40x + 50

=> 45x - 40x = 50 - 30

=> 5x = 20

=> x = 20 / 5

=> x = 4

Hence, Present age of son = 8x = 8( 4 ) = 32 years

Present age of father = 15x = 15( 4 ) = 60 years
