Let the ages of husband and wife be 4x and 3x

after 30 years
ages will be 4x + 30 and 3x + 30 respectively for husband and wife

according to the question husband is 10 years older than wife

4x + 30 = 3x + 30 + 10

x = 10

present ages of husband and wife are
40 and 30 years respectively.
