The present ages of Rohit and Mayank are in the ratio 10 : 5: 3 years later the sum of their ages will be 40 years. What are their present ages?

Since the no. is in ratio then,

5x/3x

after 3 yrs

5x+3x=40

8x=40

x=5

so the present age of Rohit is 5×5=25

as for Mayank 3×5=15
